Florian Mennigen was a member of the German rowing
eight from 2008 to 2012. After a disappointing last place at
the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008, the crew made major
changes to win three World Championships and the
Olympic gold medal in London 2012. The crew was
unbeaten over a four-year period and was considered „the
rowing best eight team, that ever existed.“
After his athletic career, the psychologist worked in the
energy and telecommunications industries. Today he is
consulting businesses and teams in change processes.
Also he works as a clinical psychologist and is one of the
most booked Sport Speaker.
